To make your reservation online, click the “Rent Now” button OR select a location. Oak Island, Ocean Isle, Sunset Beach, or Holden Beach.
Electric Cart Rental Guidelines: A minimum rental period of 72 hours (3 days) is required. We recommend not using extension cords to charge the golf carts, so be sure you have access to an outdoor outlet that will reach the golf cart. The charging cords are 10 feet long.
Rental Requirements for a Golf Cart: Renters must provide:
- A valid driver’s license for all drivers and be at least 21 years of age
- Proof of current auto insurance
- A signed rental agreement
Please reserve your golf cart at least 48 hours in advance to guarantee delivery. Note that same-day rentals are based on current fleet availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please call the office to check for same day availability.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to qualify for a refund of any unused time.
Safety Requirements: Seat belts are mandatory for all occupants. All passengers aged over 8 years and weighing more than 80 lbs must wear seat belts. Children under 8 years old and under 80 lbs must be secured in a suitable child restraint system.

In our commitment to providing exceptional value, we are delighted to waive the delivery fee for all weekly rentals. For rentals spanning 3 to 6 days, a nominal delivery fee of $50 applies.
To guarantee the smooth delivery of your chosen vehicle, we kindly request that reservations be made and all necessary requirements fulfilled at least 48 hours in advance. While we strive to accommodate all our clients’ needs, please note that specific pick-up or delivery times cannot be assured due to the predetermined routes of our delivery trucks.

Pick-Up Instructions for Your Rental

For a hassle-free pick-up, we kindly ask you to leave the golf cart in the driveway of the delivery address. This helps our team to easily locate and collect the vehicle without delay. Please place the keys in the driver’s side compartment of the dash, ensuring both the charger and keys are with the cart. It’s important that the cart is ready and at the specified location for pick-up at the end of your rental period.
We strive to accommodate specific time requests, but exact pick-up times cannot be guaranteed due to variables such as traffic conditions and the volume of deliveries and collections. Rest assured, we will confirm the pick-up day in advance and aim to provide an estimated time of arrival (ETA) for your convenience.

ELECTRIC GOLF CART CHARGING PROCEDURE
To ensure your golf cart is always ready for use, familiarize yourself with the charging process. Lithium-Ion batteries typically require 2-4 hours to fully charge, offering quick turnaround times compared to traditional batteries, which may take longer. Before charging, make sure the vehicle is turned off and the key is removed. Connect the charger to the golf cart’s charging port, and avoid using the cart while it’s connected to power. A full charge is indicated by a green light on the charger or a full battery display on the vehicle’s dashboard. Lithium-Ion batteries can handle both partial and full charges, providing flexibility for your needs.
After charging, always disconnect the charger from the wall outlet before removing it from the golf cart. Ensure you’re using the provided extension cord and connecting to a dedicated 15-20 amp outlet for optimal safety. Adhering to these steps will keep your golf cart ready for adventure, though remember that charging times for traditional batteries may require additional planning.
Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) Laws in North Carolina
Low Speed Vehicle Laws in North Carolina § 20-121.1. Operation of a low-speed vehicle on certain roadways.
The operation of a low-speed vehicle is authorized with the following restrictions:
(1) A low-speed vehicle may be operated only on streets and highways where the posted speed limit is 35 miles per hour or less. This does not prohibit a low-speed vehicle from crossing a road or street at an intersection where the road or street being crossed has a posted speed limit of more than 35 miles per hour.
(2) A low-speed vehicle shall be equipped with headlamps, stop lamps, turn signal lamps, tail lamps, reflex reflectors, parking brakes, rearview mirrors, windshields, windshield wipers, speedometer, seat belts, and a vehicle identification number.
(3) A low-speed vehicle shall be registered and insured in accordance with G.S. 20-50 and G.S. 20-309
(4) The Department of Transportation may prohibit the operation of low-speed vehicles on any road or highway if it determines that the prohibition is necessary in the interest of safety.
(5) Low-speed vehicles must comply with the safety standards in 49 C.F.R. § 571.500. (2001-356, s. 5.)
